Toyota Cup – Somlak Kumsingh vs Kamen Picken

I have nothing but respect for Somlak and his achievements in helping Thailand and Muaythai grow internationally. But I really feel like its time he fully retired and focused on coaching. While he is on  a technical scale far better than most of the opponents he is facing, he really seems to be struggling with maintaining fitness levels and I wonder how this fight would have ended if it had gone for 5 rounds.

Another thing to note, all of these fights at Toyota cup have the foreigners at bigger weights compared to their far more experienced Thais. Is this the promoters way of making the fights more exciting to the audience?
