Finish Friday 12 – Didn’t see it coming

Good Friday guys, hope you all enjoyed EFC 21 last night? It was an definitely and enjoyable night for us at Rafiki’s with all the KOs & tap outs going down. However, it also makes me feel that this is caused by not so great match making. Not to dig at Graeme, I know it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to predict how a fight will go and I it is definitely getting better. If it was that easy, we would all be making large cash money off the betting surely? What does irk me though is how the best fights always seem to be on the unde rcard and we can’t watch those except in cinemas and streaming. Alas, EFC do need to pay their bills and that is how capitalism works. But all in all, well done to the fighters that fought. There are some interesting bouts in the upcoming EFC 22 in 3 weeks! Fights I am looking forward to are: DONNOVAN WILKEN vs. MATTHEW BUIRSKI (Its a size thing, its my division), SIBUSISO MDOKU vs. DAVID VAN SCHALKWYK (Don’t know much about David, but Sibu has proved he belongs there and is always exciting to watch), JUAN LUBBE vs. THEMBA GORIMBO ( Interested to see how Themba has improved since I last saw him compete at CFL 3, Congrats on the signing with EFC by the way) and lastly JP KRUGER VS. TUMELO MAPHUTHA (honestly, not that interested inthe competition of this, but JP has been training at Tiger in Phuket and want to see how his stand up is, watch his highlights vid from training there recently below)

Now onto the actual Finish Friday post. I have two Muaythai/kickboxing fights for you this week. First is some crazy spin kicking tornado action from a Taekwondo vs Mauythai fight from Korea. How legit it is, is another story; but an entertaining KO none the less.

Lastly, is a big elbow KO from Lumpinee stadium. We thought it was going to be a knee battle, but no sir, keep those hands up!

Many thanks to NakMuaythai & LiveMuaythaiGuy for the uploads.
